A World of Keflings

If you are looking for a family-friendly, relaxing game, you should consider this one. A World of Keflings gives very little forward drive and can be in no way a source of stressful experience. Parents may be sure there will be absolutely nothing offensive anywhere in the game. In this game the events take place in the world of squeaky little creatures, Keflings, quite entertaining characters with rather amusing peeps and squeaks.

In the game the player will be exclusively himself or herself, or, rather, an imagined cartoon self. The player is a giant, when gets into the Kefling universe, and upon the first enter into this world will be frozen in a block of ice. From this moment on it's up to the player whether to help the pint-sized Keflings to construct buildings, expand their kingdom and build a whole world of their own. And the player can build constructions in this world at whatever speed they wish.

There are no chances of losing this game, the only difference being in speed at which the player can reach the winning point. In the game the player will have to implement some kicking and slapping as well, when helping the Keflings and fighting with their enemies. Those who played A Kingdom of Keflings know the procedure (of gathering resources and blueprints and then starting the piece-by-piece construction). This procedure is the same with the World of Keflings as well.

The main difference is that the newer game expands across three different landscapes: forest, snow, and desert – each with its unique building types and its inhabitants’ traditions. The greater part of the game is played in the world of green forests. But visits to the other two worlds are inevitable. When time calls for such a visit it is done through special portals.

This opportunity of seeing Keflings stylized in different ways with varying building styles is a huge change for this game that introduces a lot of diversity and fun into it. Another interesting feature A World of Keflings offers is that any player can open up their world for cooperative play mode. Playing it in this co-op mode allows getting things done much faster and sharing all the fun the work brings. For those who’ve never played a Keflings game, this game will definitely be an excellent start.
